Scaling to AN Level 4 to unlock network value

Communications service providers (CSPs) increasingly are demonstrating their success in implementing Level 4 autonomous networks, scaling their architectures to unlock value. With the help of standards and blueprints developed by TM Forum and its Members they are gradually moving from early use cases towards creating new revenue streams in specific high-value network domains.

But there are still challenges ahead. TM Forum’s Open Digital Architecture (ODA) provides the basis for intelligent, composable, cloud-native operations, but AN developments need to build on that. To deliver the necessary levels of automation securely and at scale, operators and their partners need AI-native operations and cross-domain collaboration.
